Born in 1973, Innsbruck, Austria.
Lives and works in Vienna (A) as a classical trained guitarist and
singer with a wide range of activities including solo-works within composed music and
projects with improvising musicians and music for theater and film.
He is a permanent member of LOKAI,
trio exclusive and KMET.
In 2005 he received the national grand for composition, in 2011 a working grant for
composition. Collaborations with Wolfgang Mitterer, Gunter Schneider, Max Nagl,
Franz Hautzinger, Martin Brandlmayr, Jorge Sanchüz-Chiong...
About the song ORDER RAIN:
At first it was a purely instrumental piece that I introduced to a former band of mine, called superlooper. You can still check it out on the net. We played at a performance of toxic dreams, directed yosi wanunu (from israel), called "DO ! sleep", where the exact same performance was done 5 times - each with a different live music act. For superlooper this was a very pop like musical piece. It worked really well, and during the work for my solo album "electric songs" (Konkord 019) this instrumental came to my mind again. I adapted it, wrote the lyrics, and Verena Brückner sang to it. This is really a dreamlike text, going back to the times of the dreadful bush administration.
Sarah began exhibiting her work during her time in the London squatting scene in the early noughties, joining together with a creative underbelly of artists and performers and seizing the opportunity of free public space and utilizing it for 1 night only shows. She has since established herself as an international artist, exhibiting work in London, Paris, Portland, New York, Adelaide and Melbourne.
